The courtyard of the restaurant is basically the end of the harbor of Lakka, so we can say that you can’t get any closer to the sea. In particular you will find a swing that is right at the edge of the water and will make you feel that you are literally hovering above the water. Not to mention the view of the incredible coastline of Lakka, which offers one of the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see. A special and interactive part of the generally tasteful decoration is the piano which is available for use by customers who know how to play.

For people looking to eat lunch or their dinner, the restaurant offers a quality range of choices containing mainly seafood, with a mediterranian menu based on subtle flavors. Central role to this, play the fresh seafood (lobster, crab, crayfish, clams, mollusks and obviously fish), and various meats are offered of course to complete the menu.
From appetisers you will find crespela with smoked salmon, guatseto di Mare (an impressive feast of seafood, including mixed seafood soup with cherry tomatoes and sauce), gravlax with fresh marinated salmon (finished with lemon and beets and orange dressing), Tuna Tataki (raw tuna with peanut and sesame crust (black & white) accompanied with fresh salad with lime dressing), marinated shrimp with lemon and sauce from tomatoes, and traditionally prepared pumpkin pie.
In main courses, you will find risotto with monkfish and saffron, risotto with black ink cuttlefish and mussels, bavetes with fresh seafood, spaghetti with lobster or crab, fresh ravioli with shrimp and mushrooms, orzo (risoni) with shrimp and various fish prepared in various ways ( e.g. in the oven with vegetables and wine, fillet-cut and boneless, Scorpio bourdeto with spaghetti cooked in the scorpio’s juices) and awesome octopus cooked with balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, red wine and honey.
Akis fish bar works in the morning like a cafeteria with a wide variety of coffees (you can find mochaccino, Irish coffee, latte macchiato etc.). Serving breakfast from 8 o’clock in the morning : yoghurts with your choice of sides, croissants, fruit salad, ice cream, fresh juices, omelettes, milkshakes but also a variety of fresh pastries such as banofi, tiramisu, cheesecake, crème brûlée, Catalunya cream, tart dark chocolate, lemon pie, or orange pie with ice cream.
In the evenings it also functions as a lounge bar. There is a large variety of drinks, champagnes, exquisite cocktails, a very wide selection of beer for an island’ bar, and generally one of the best liquor places on the island.
Akis Bar and restaurant organizes various events for a more complete experience (especially in the winter), every Sunday there are various live music acts, from jazz to “artistic” and more modern styles of music, as well as stand up comedy, oriental nights etc.
