Pattiserie Dolce has been in the Gaios central square since 1989, having created a long tradition on the island of Paxos. Among the vast variety of sweets on offer you can find Dolce’s delicious mille-feuille, and its unique “Bolsheviks”, two sweets that have always garnered the attention and love of both locals and tourists. Traditional recipes like syrup soaked sweets with nuts and almonds are important additions to the store’s repertoire. You can also find ravani, chocolate pie, kataifi, and baklava with ice cream.
Dolce serves breakfast from the early morning hours, offering flaky pastries (cheese pie, ham and cheese pie, bougatsa, apple pie, special spinach and cheese pie), omelette, toast, burgers, sandwiches, cookies and biscuits, and all kinds of Hausbrandt coffee as well as freshly made Greek coffee.
At night you can enjoy a drink of your liking or some of Artemis’ cocktails, like Margarita, Caipiroshka, Mojito and many more. You can also try some traditional liquor like sentoura (carnation) and kumquat, characteristic Corfu and Paxos drinks.
Dolce undertakes preparation of cakes for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and any kind of event. It also serves Ben and Jerry’s ice cream as well as the special recipes of Carte D’Or, Tricolore, Kaimaki and Temptation. You can also order your ice cream in your Espresso, Irish or Filter coffee. Finally, Dolce offers internet access through free WiFi for all customers.
