    You will also find spaggheti and risotto ala Conchiglia with various seafood, sautéed seafood (clams, shrimps, mussels), traditional dishes like bourdeto fish with red peppers and tomato sauce, sautéed seafood with various shellfish, shrimps.

    There are also a number of traditional dishes such as moussaka, or stuffed vegetables with rice. Tenderloin steak with honey sauce, mustard and Paxos’ rosemary, fillet of beef with cognac sauce and peppercorns, wild boar braised with red sauce and briam cooked in the oven with vegetables, and of course the pot roast which is one of the “must have” of the restaurant, and many more!

    Generally this restaurants’ concept is that the recipes may be traditional but they have evolved through the modern cuisine’s standards.

    Many of the materials used in the La Conchiglia’s cuisine are local, the olive oil is produced by the restaurant’s owners, the vinegar is local, the wild boar comes fresh Ipeiros (northern Greece), and their various spices are theirs such as oregano, basil and mint, while in the menu you will find all the traditionally made greek cheeses.

    La Conchiglia accepts orders for fresh fish and seafood such as lobster, if you want to make a reservation a few days ahead and enjoy a fresh meal when you want.

    There is an excellent selection of wines such as Gavala Santorini’s wine (dry with white fruit aromas), Biblia Chora, the beautiful Blanc de cris (with citrus flavours), Tomi (moschofilero), Nemea, Giannis Tselepos, Pinot Noir, Papaioannou.
