With a long tradition stretching back to 1973, Tolis Grill house is one of the most famous spots to have a meal at Loggos of Paxos Island. Having always been a family business, Tolis has some unique flavors like the homemade balsamic vinegar and the salad dressing, coming together wonderfully in the signature Tolis’ salad.
Based primarily on Greek cuisine, the menu centers around the charcoal grill. You can enjoy kontosouvli, sufrito, semi-wild pig, 4 fillets with 4 kinds of sauce, blue cheese fillet, tenderloin, as well as sea food like octopus, squid, shrimp and of course saganaki cheese, all grilled on coal. You can also try other meals such as chicken roast, a traditional recipe by Miss Soula, and risotto with sea food. Some fish can be served after a custom order. All food is seasoned with a variety of spices, and is always decorated with Paxos herbs.
The tavern is on Zoodohou Pigi square, right next to the Panagia church, and it is one of the most popular hangouts on the island. You can also sit to have a bit of wine, ouzo or tsipouro along with a meze (which can be zucchini, onion or something along those lines). The dessert is always on the house and it can be tiramisu, chocolate biscuit cake, mille-feuile, cheesecake, or sweet preserves, all homemade.
Wi-Fi is freely available.
